Lakers Hold Off The Mavs 107-100

The Mavericks put up a good fight but in the end the Lakers were too much. Kobe scored 28 points, Trevor Ariza scored 26 points and Pau Gasol scored 25. Lamar Odom had a double double with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Jason Terry had 29 for Dallas and singlehandlely tried to lead a comeback for the Mavs. Dallas went on a huge run in the 4th quarter to overcome a 13 point lead and take a 5 point lead. But Kobe led the Lakers on a run of their own and they held on to beat Dallas 107-100. The Lakers completed their sweep of Texas defeating the Rockets, Spurs and Mavericks over the past 3 games. If the Lakers face the Mavs in the playoffs that should be an easy series. The Lakers have a mismatch at virtually every position on the court except point guard.
