Lakers Win A Close One

L.A. won a tough one last night 129-121 over the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors were energized by their home fans and gave the Lakers a much tougher game than I expected. Kobe dropped 30 and had 9 assists. Gasol kicked in 24 points and 13 boards. Lamar Odom contributed 22 and 7 boards. Trevor Ariza added 17 points off the bench. Josh Powell, that's right Josh Powell, had a big night with 16 points. Jamal Crawford gave the Lakers fits all night scoring 23. Stephen Jackson and Corey Maggette scored 24 points apiece for Golden State. L.A. has won 9 out of 10 and is playing the best basketball in the NBA right now. The Lakers won a game against a hungry motivated Golden State team that played about as well as they could.

The Lakers will go for their 45th win of the season Friday night against the Hornets.
